Im heading to Boston....

In 2 weeks and 1 day, to be exact. Everything is set except for my outfit! :( Yesterday I went to the mall and went into Macys, Nordstrom Rack, Papaya, Bloom, Charlotte Russe, JCPenny and Windsor to name a few lol. I found one dress I fell in love with but it was way too much money to spend on a dress I will only wear once so today I will keep looking.


I found a pair of Nine West heels that I loved at Macy's for $59.99. Since today I am heading to Citadel Outlets hopefully I find a deal at the Nine West store there.


I am very excited to pick out my outfit because it has been a while that I have attended a wedding.


I still have to buy the wedding favors and I kind of  have an idea of what I want to buy. Since I will be the one purchasing the favors I wan to make sure that it is something that will not go in the trash. I do not want to buy favors that are too (as we Mexicans say it) "rancheros" (ugly/old school looking favors) like those ugly ceramic bride and groom dolls with lace attached to them lol. I want something simple and classy that will be sure to have everyone with a smile. That is why I have chosen to buy cute candy favor boxes or bags (Still haven't decided) and fill them up with either jelly beans, chocolate, almonds or mints. Who doesn't like candy to munch on waiting for the food to be served or after you have eaten to take that taste of meat in your mount? Besides, lets be honest, how many of us keep wedding favors for more than a month. Honestly, if its not something coasters, pens or something that doesn't have a ribbon saying "Nuestra Boda" ("Our Wedding") I don't keep it. Its the truth, I do not have space to collect every couples Wedding favor and seriously, I know that about 97% of people I know don't keep the favors for more than a month. Hopefully I find some cute boxes or bags and if not, I will have to find another kind of wedding favor.   :)

BellaKoritaNails is spreading its wings....

I finally created the Facebook Page many of my subscribers asked me to make. I haven't worked on it because I just created it but during the week I will fix the page and add pictures so you can go ahead and visit my Facebook Page :) and hit the "Like" button.... :)

I won!!!!! :)

So every morning, I wake up to Ch. 5 KTLA Morning News and they have giveaways that they do towards the end of the 8 o'clock hour. I always enter the giveaways, sometimes its a purse and other times tickets to Disneyland. Today the prize was 2 tickets to go see Jeanne Robertson. She is a humorist and I've seen some her video on YouTube about not sending a man to do the grocery shopping. She is soooo funny! I have never won any tickets to anything so today when Megan from KTLA called me I was sooooo excited I couldn't believe it! I will be taking my mom tomorrow night so that she can have a fun time and not worry about washing the dishes lol. 

The show will be at the beautiful and extremely elegant Ebell Theater on Wilshire Blvd. I am super excited but I don't know what to wear! Ahhhhh! :) Today is payday, so I think I should go shopping for an outfit ;)

 I have absolutely no pictures to share. I only had the exciting news to share. I still am doing the selection of winners for my YouTube contest. The video should be up by Sunday night in which I will announce the winners.

The end to my YouTube Contest.... & some updates!

FINALLY! After one complete months and various entries to my BellaKoritaNails YouTube contest, it has been closed as of 11:59 pm last night August 1st. Today I will start the process of choosing the two winners. I am very excited to listen to what my subscibers have to say :) I just hope its not hard to choose my two winners! And I hope that for my next contest when I reach 1,000 subscribers will be better set up than the one I just had because apparently some subbies were a bit confused, I apologize for that. So with that said now I move onto some less exciting news lol.

 Two months of working with 65 pallets of boxes of books and I finally got the chance to do my nails this weekend past weekend! :) I am sooo happy with the outcome. Here is the picture...

I also did my best friend Andrea's nails estilo sinaloa last night too!

I am sitting at my desk taking my 20 minute break drinking my coffee in my monkey mug which I will post a picture of later and I stop and realize........

I'M GOING TO BOSTON IN 3 WEEKS & 1 DAY!!!!!!!!

I am super excited! I just want to pack my bags and leave already, I will be flying out there with my cousin Ilianna <3. Flying with her is soooo fun because we always joke around like when we both flew to Texas lol. Good memories with my cousin :).

Finally working on a new YouTube video! & Some Updates!

Work has been pretty hectic and I've been dealing with a lot of crap from people lately. I'm trying sooo hard to keep my cool and remain professional by not talking back to them but I swear sometimes I just want to smack some people and say "SNAP OUT OF IT! Stop acting like a diva and realize that this is reality you can;t have it your way you are in a work environment and you need to be polite!" Man oh man!


Anywho, I am finally working on a video which should be up by the end of this week. YAY! This is the nail design I am making the video for. It was for my sister's friend Lupita, she was going to Vegas for the weekend and wanted very colorful nails. I used Pink, Green, and Turquoise acrylic glitters which were my own mix and I used the "Purple" glitter acrylic from JennisseMakeup.com

On a sidenote, Thursday I will be going with my co-worker and close friend Mariana to shop for some dresses for my Vegas  Bday celebration in November and later I will be having coffee with my BFF Andrea at my new favorite coffee house "Tierra Mia".

Thats all for today! I have to get back to my research paper for my Food & Nutrition class lol :)

Busy Bee!

My mother woke me up all early today! Not cool! I have soooo many things to do... I have to go get an application at the post office to renew my passport, go book the church for my baby sisters Quinceanera, go to the recycling center then go to Paramount to pick up some nail supplies then come home and get ready for a dear friends 21st Bday Party! I really do not want to get out of bed. But oh well! Gotta do what I gotta do!


So many great things are coming my way in the next few months and I want time to just speed up! Next month, I am going to Boston, MA! Ive never been there so I am definetly very excited to go, I just want to pack my bags and go! lol Then in October I turn 21 and I want to have a few days of celebration here in LA before I go celebrate in Vegas, NV!
